First up, our PRIDE Awards! This is our annual celebration where General Managers (GMs) from all our businesses get together to party and honour their achievements. We award the Rising Star for new talents, District of the Year for top-performing groups, and General Manager of the Year for the absolute best in each brand. Winners don their finest attire, enjoy top-notch hospitality, and the GM of the Year even scores a money-can’t-buy trip!

Meet Chris, GM of the Year for Vintage Inns, who got whisked away to Rome! Chris climbed the ranks from part-time bartender to award-winning GM over 15 years at M&B. "The highlight of the trip was a 3 Michelin Star chef cooking for us at a stately home overlooking the city. It was an unforgettable experience," he shared.

Shake Off Competition

Got a knack for mixing drinks? Enter the Shake Off competition! Brands like All Bar One, Browns, and Premium Country Pubs invite team members to craft their own cocktails for a chance to feature on the Winter Drinks Menu. Winners also get a fabulous goodie bag and a trip to the Roe & Co Distillery in Dublin for a Cocktail Flavours Discovery Experience! 

MABsterchef Awards

Our MABsterchef Awards are all about culinary creativity. Chef Apprentices across M&B create dishes based on a set theme (this year's theme: Street Food!) with fresh ingredients in just 3 hours. Winners from each brand compete in a final showdown, with the top chefs joining the culinary team at our PRIDE Awards and enjoying a behind-the-scenes culinary experience in London!

City Division 5-a-side Football

Love football? Join our City Division brands—All Bar One, Browns, Nicholsons, and Castle—for our annual charity 5-a-side football tournament, open to all City Team Members. It’s like a mini World Cup with knockout rounds and penalty shootouts! It’s a fantastic way to build teamwork, have fun, and raise money for charity. This year we raised £3500!

Supporting Causes Close to Our Hearts

We believe in giving back at M&B. Our teams regularly participate in charity events like hikes, golf days, and galas to support important causes. Recently, Sophie joined other M&B members for a sky-dive to raise funds for charity. “It was an incredible experience, and I can’t believe I got to do it as a part of work!” she said.
