Working with our Armed Forces
We want to thank all our Armed Forces for all they do to protect and serve our country. As an employer, we are committed to helping our Servicemen and women with their career transition and employment needs. We know that being in the Armed Forces, provides you with an incredible number of transferable skills suited to working in the hospitality industry. If you're looking for a fresh start, we would love to hear from you.
Armed Forces Covenant: Silver Award 2023
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from M&B, ensuring that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly. Individuals will face no disadvantage when applying to roles within M&B, and in some cases, special consideration is appropriate.
We're honoured to be recognised for our commitment to the Armed Forces community. We value the transferable skills they bring to our pubs and restaurants across the UK.
.
M&B are committing to supporting the armed forces and their families. We have made a range of written and publicised promises to those who serve as reservists, through our company reservist policy.
The M&Be Transferred program is available to famililies of those serving in the Armed Forces. This allows our Armed Forces Employees and their families to remain with M&B as they move around the country.
Skills you will bring
You do things by your own personal actions and actually if you can step forward and do it, then people will then follow suit. And that's what you learn in the army. You’ve gotta take a step forward.
