PEST Controller – Using a company van to travel from your home to our pubs and restaurants in the London area.

The Opportunity – PEST Controller
- Working independently as a PEST Controller, you’ll use a company van to travel to pubs and restaurants in the area of London.
- Developing a robust pest management plan for targeted sites that will include a combination of all approved methods of control & proofing
- Deliver pest management works to sites within the region to a very high and consistent standard.
- Provide training and best practice support to external contractors working on site and other DART engineers to support ongoing professional development and understanding of the wider team
- Management of van stock and ordering of parts required to facilitate site works
- Safe and secure management and control of all controlled materials
- Management of the IT process from accepting work from sites to completing and uploading paperwork to the IT system.
- Support front line operations in ensuring businesses are pest proofed and managed to a good and consistent standard.
- Respond proactively to maintenance problems to find an innovative cost-effective solution within demanding timescales.
- Assist the team in the planning, development, execution, supervision, budget delivery and control of the MAB Pest Management services within the specified region.
Skills required for this PEST Controller role
- Proven experience of pest management ideally combined with multi-unit retail business experience.
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a BCPA Level 2 technician, followed by at last 2 years with the BCPA CAT qualification
- A customer service focussed, can do and flexible approach to work which is extremely varied and requires a broad range of general maintenance experience
- High degree of maturity.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- High level of IT skills required.
Qualifications
- BPCA Certified Advance Technician (CAT)
- CSCS Gold Card or MAB SMART Accreditation for Safe Project Working (Can be obtained post appointment)

- Working 35 hours per week, 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with flexibility with working hours to fit around your personal commitments (e.g., 7am to 2pm, 8am to 3pm, etc.)
- No evening or weekend work, nor is there an on-call rota
